Selling on EBay

I recently tried getting back into eBay selling and haven’t had the best luck. I used to do it 5-6 years ago and I was selling something every single day I don’t know what is different. I believe there algorithm must be different or something.

I watched this YouTube video about top selling items on eBay and turns out clothes is one of the top. That surprised me, when I think of going shopping for clothing the last thing that comes to mind is clothing. Another one was phones and electronics. I believe that one. I have always thought of eBay as a pawn shop kinda deal. You walk into the pawn shop and kinda get them to buy your stuff for a good deal then the pawn shop resells it to make a profit. Well you put your items on eBay for people to buy to get a profit. There on the website to get a good deal.

I’ve always had success selling video games that is the most common item that I have ever sold. Another one is video game accessories, like controllers. The first item that I sold was a Guitar Hero drum set. I never got into playing the drums I said hey I’ll throw these up on eBay to see what happens and within 3 days it was sold.

Starting Over

I made this blog 2 years ago or so and had 5 posts then I just stopped. I honestly don’t think of my self as a creative person but I want to try this again. I am going to dedicate my to uploading a blog every single day so that might mean that some blogs are scheduled but that is okay.

Let me give a little life update. I decided to go back to school for a while. I honestly couldn’t figure out what I wanted to to with my life. I was on Facebook and saw a video from Tai Lopez about managing social media pages for business and it really caught my attention. I decided to go watch one of his webinars. I learned about how you could actually make money off of managing social media pages. I decided to research jobs you can work in social media. I found digital marketing.

I started to search all over Youtube for videos about digital marketing. I kept saying I want to do this. I then looked into what I can do to get into digital marketing. Well I was on Facebook and saw an add for a college course for digital marketing from Fermont College. Emailed them to see how I could get enrolled. Almost done with all of the paperwork, I sent in my essay. Then I just decided to see what other colleges have digital marketing classes. I come across Duke University.

As soon as I seen Duke University, I told Fermont college that I would not be attending there. I email Duke University and about a week later I get accepted into the course. I had a year to get it done. I told myself I was going to get this done way under a year. I start the course on August 7th, 2017 and I finished on December 22nd, 2017. I worked so hard for 5 months to get that done. I’m so glad that I went to Duke University. It’s the best decision I have made.
